To those who watch the series regularly, I apologize haha, I can't find much to many sources where the episodes are available for international audiences. Seeing as to how it has over 1,600+ episodes, I don't see myself catching up to the episode in focus here as well as the side story stars that are Jack and Rayane. I don't know much about this series, and I did as much research as there was available for this series. Later chapters will closely reflect on any episode I catch up on. wrote this after the episode in which Jack says he knows that Rayane is going on a date, and have not watched the following episode yet. There was no way this was to be avoided, and so, Jack begins to slide until he hits rock bottom.
It doesn't help that he doesn't like being tended to, or treated like a child, and after hoping he wouldn't have to put up with it for too long, the frightening reality that he'll never return to his former life finally catches up to him, and suddenly his feelings for Rayane become stronger but falter because of his insecurities. He's kept himself from getting too worked up or depressed about his loss of vision, but after being told by the same doctors (who provided the encouragement he needed) that the likelihood of regaining his sight was becoming slim, the dark thoughts he kept tucked away started to become louder, making their presence known.
